Netvibes is a personalised homepage application rather like protopage, pageflakes, iGoogle and so on.
I had become quite accustomed to using Firefox to view all RSS feeds of interest but moving between various computers always makes this a bit of a problem maintaining a common list.
I started using netvibes a few weeks back and am now hooked with this being my home page of preference providing single page access to a number of websites via widgets:
- Google Notebook - excellent application with the Firefox extension
- Gmail
- Mac Mail
- IMAP Mail
- Twitter
- Google Docs
- and of course many RSS feeds relating to eLearning and eBusiness
