On Thursday 13th March, Alan Shearer and Adrian Chiles set off on the challenge of a life time. They cycled from St. James Park in Newcastle to BBC Television Centre in London, via The Hawthorns football ground in Adrian's hometown of West Brom, aiming to reach London for the start of the Sport Relief television fest - just two days!
The Super Cycle website Live Updates page comprised of a very effective, easy to follow and easy to update mashup as below:

By using the 3rd party web applications Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and Veri Location and integrating the various feeds / embeds into the website page the only task left to do on the two days was for the support team to provide up to date content all from a sinle device - the good 'ol Nokia N95 (something the iPhone could not have done...).
All in all a very impressive and cost effective (naturally important for Sport Relief) solution for providing dynamic updates of the duo's progress - and well done to them both for finishing and getting to the studio on time!
